Vol. 1 Crucified at the Coliseum

Inspired by the #McScandal case, which is a current event surrounding the author, Joshua J.E. Brown pens an exposé regarding media and social media scrutiny and controversy stemming from the #McScandal case. This Volume #1 is themed around the author being crucified after being framed criminally in a viral hoax and hate crime, in which millions online spectated and partook. Yesterday’s coliseums of gladiator fighting to the death are reimagined by the author, transforming from breathtaking Roman architecture into today’s modern coliseum, “The Internet, Social Media, and Media.” In today’s era, anyone can be thrust into mid-battle as a modern-day gladiator and crucified online for the modern civil world to see, not only as a thrilling spectacle but also as “digital sport" entertainment, similar to the author.
